MERIDIAN

LEGALTerms of engagement

Seven clauses.No fine print.

These terms apply to every commission across both divisions unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Last revised August 2026.

I

Scope is written before work starts

Every commission begins with a one-page brief signed by both sides. Anything not on that page is a change, and a change is priced before it is made.

II

Approvals are named

Each stage — direction, production, finish — has a named approver on your side and ours. Work does not advance on silence.

III

Ownership of the work

On final payment, the delivered films, frames, source project files and system code transfer to you outright, with no residual licence back to us beyond a portfolio right that you can withhold.

IV

Techniques stay with the house

Our internal tooling, prompt architecture and pipeline remain ours. We never reuse your confidential material to build them.

V

Custody

Twelve months of custody is included as standard: films get versions, systems get releases and a documented handover.

VI

Cancellation

Cancel at any stage and you pay for work completed plus committed generation or infrastructure costs. Nothing more.

VII

Liability

Our liability is capped at fees paid for the affected stage. We carry professional indemnity cover; details on request.
